Rock Island Community Church was started in the mid 1950’s to serve the community of
Rock Island with a place of common Christian
fellowship. Through decades of faithful commitment, the church has remained a part of this growing small town. Because it is the only church here, we welcome people from a diversity of denominational backgrounds. If you want to know, follow, and learn more about our Lord God, please join us at one of our regularly scheduled meetings.

Atmosphere
As God’s people, we realize that this world was created by and for our God. Furthermore, we understand that we were saved wholly by His grace for the purpose of demonstrating His glory and greatness.
Therefore, gatherings of the church are times for us to intentionally honor Him.
Biblical
Teaching
The only physical resource we have to inform and direct our relationship with our God is His Word, the Holy Bible. It is faithfully taught, preached, studied, referenced, and promoted in the church because we
love Him and desire to grow that love through understanding.
Wonderful
Worship Time
We believe that our designated time of worship is intended to focus on
the greatness and goodness of our God. We desire to purposefully exalt Him by actively engaging in demonstrating our esteem. Consequently, we sing theologically sound songs of praise, open the Scriptures together in public instruction, and talk to Him in sincere prayer.
As our church moves forward with the Lord, we welcome Christ followers to our family. This local church strongly encourages every Christian to faithfully participate in the work of the universal and local church by the use of your God-given talents and abilities.
We are willing and able to help you identify those items, and to give you opportunities to use them for the purpose of serving our Lord Jesus Christ.
